Campfire: Building A Brightly Burning Business Blog

You know you should be blogging for your business, but you’re not entirely sure why. One day you read that blogging is dead, the next you find out it’s crucial to your marketing. On the list of things to do it just keeps slipping down below the emails and Instagram posts.

And what are you supposed to write about anyway? Whenever you sit down to make a start you’re overwhelmed by the choice of topics, or worry that this isn’t valuable to anyone, or feel put off by how salesy you sound. And don’t even get started on the pictures.

I hear you.

Blogging for business is so daunting when you’re first starting out. But like most things marketing, it’s something that has been over-complicated when in fact it can be an easy, flowing, creative process that drives traffic and builds a brand.

Come sit round the campfire, and I’ll show you how…

Why Campfire?

First of all, because it’s all about the preparation – you can’t sling a few logs on the ground and hope they’ll burn through the night. You have to gather the materials, make sure they’re suitable for your fire, and place them together in a supportive structure before lighting the flame.

But after that, come the stories. A campfire is a hub of community and storytelling, bringing together like-minded folk to share tales and wisdom. That is exactly how your business blog will behave – a well-structured, long-lasting hub that draws people to its creative flame.
